whole of pinchville has been griefed by some gay clan again
Fixed most of it but since its a huge place I might have missed something

You banned all guests. Even after the attack sub-sided.

It's good to ban the griefers, but some players thought they finally found the right-server, only to be promptly banned.

However, just because the majority of the guests are griefers, doesn't mean you should ban them all.
Remember it shows up on MCBans.

She was right to, I was doing the exact same. We dont think any single one of them wasn't a griefer

But even when an individual guest pops up, they were banned.
Pinch is the first site that comes up when you search "SMP no whitelist"
That means that,
A:
We will have lots of people coming onto the server.
B:
Some of them will be griefers.
When there's a flood of them, I can understand the banning.
But when it's a lone guest, try to make sure they are griefers before banning them.

We had no guests for a while, nobody had posted in the MC forum thread which is where most of our players come from.

And there were no individual guests, just huge groups of griefers, we tried the whole "Check if theyre a griefer first" and it was pointless.

Every single one of them griefed, and it took too much time to ban, then rollback each single one before moving to the next.

So out of the 70-something people that were banned, we potentially lost what.. 2? 3 non griefers?

The trouble of checking the rest just to make sure they were griefers isnt worth it just to keep hold of a couple of players in our server.
